Daily Devotion :All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Good Morning  … Praise the LORD …!

Today’s mediation is taken from Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Here , Paul’s text is universal and he is referring to “ALL” which means every one on this universe , used very true and powerful statement ."All have sinned." This includes you, me and everyone . If you think it doesn't then you need to check very seriously .

We need to understand 2 things from the today’s devotion ,
 1. SIN
 2. GOD’S GLORY

Question here is What is the SIN ?

Dictionary meaning ,“Sin is a transgression, evil, a violation of accepted moral, religious code.”
1. Sin is any lack of conformity to the character of God.
2. Sin is a hopelessly incurable disease of the soul.
3. Sin is rebellion against God.
4. Sin is the opposite of holiness, of God, and of morality.

The word of GOD clearly telling the fact that we are all sinners by birth.

“Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”  Psalm 51:5
R.C. Sproul put it this way: “We are not sinners because we sin; we sin because we are sinners.”The heart or mind of a person is already polluted with something that is opposed to the authority of God or the idea of surrender – something that sets itself up against the life of purity and discipline. This what the Apostle Paul meant when he said, “Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.” (Romans 8:5)

2. GOD’S GLORY :

Second things we need to understand here is God’s glory, meaning In Romans 1:21 Paul says of men that although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him. When man was created he was made head of the visible creation. His aim was to be to glorify God in this. But sin has come into the world and so man fails to do this. Instead of glorifying God, he dishonors him. We were made to give God glory but by nature we do not.

It also means that men do not have anything to glory before God, or boast before him, about. We can't boast of our anything, we don't have any. Perhaps, we can boast before men but not before God.

From this verse we understand clearly that we are sinners and fall short of the glory of god .
We clearly need a savior to save us from SIN and we need to repent about our sins , which this verse reminds us of. It is a reminder of the constant need to repent.

The biggest question is fine , we are sinners and fall short of glory of god .
So what is the solution ? , its simple  the very next verse: "and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" (Rom 3:24).

The Bible condemns all of us in our sin. But the Bible also tells us about Salvation in Christ. In other words, sin does not have the last word if you are in Christ. Rather, in Christ, your throat, tongue, lips, mouth, feet, and eyes are used for the glory of GOD ! AMEN !

GOD BLESS YOU .. !
