Good Morning …! Praise the LORD …!
Thank Jesus for yet another Sunday in our life .
Today’s mediation is taken from 1 Timothy 3:14-16 “Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory”
As the technology and media grow very fast and available to all the people around the world (Of course in affordable price), many believers think that the church is not at all important in this fast generation, that’s the one of the dangerous sign for a Christian believers .
Apostle Paul instructing to the young timothy about the “CHURCH” and he knew the importance of Church that’s the reason, he is saying “I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I delayed …” that’s the sense of emergency.
As a believer we all should know about the church, importance of the church and also how to behave in the church.
Bible clearly says that Church means people “where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” , its not the physical structure .
Throughout the bible if we see , God specifically mentioned about the church and its importance in different meanings :
Church means “One Body” , “House of God”, “Living God”, “Pillar and ground of the truth”, “Encouraging one another ”,”Fellowship” , “Word of God ”, “Praises to Lord “, “Worship his holy name “,” Prayers” etc ..
Ephesians 1:23 “which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all “
The church is like a family. But it is not ordinary family. This is the household of God. The Father knows best in this family. His advice always works—when followed. This is also a family of grace and forgiveness. We can’t get to be a part of the family without knowing that. That’s why the Bible says, “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” Eph 5:1.
Today, we are glad to be that family of GOD … ! AMEN …!
