Good Morning …! Praise the LORD …!
Today’s meditation is taken from Ephesians 1:22 “God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church “
Each week at the office meet, a brief note about one's job status needs to be given. When it was the turn of a Christian, he stood up and said:
“I’m with a global enterprise. We have branches in every country in the world. We have our representatives in nearly every parliament and board room on earth. We’re into motivation and behavior alteration”
“We run hospitals, feeding stations, crisis pregnancy centers, universities, publishing houses, and nursing homes. We care for our clients from birth to death.
“Our CEO was born in a hick town, worked as a carpenter, didn’t own a home, was misunderstood by his family, walked on water, was condemned to death without a trial, and arose from the dead and his name is JESUS CHRIST .
Any company would check the knowledge, academic record at the basic level, and then conducts interview to recruit anyone. But the greatest ever organization by Christ invites everyone to be part of it.
By this time, you would have understood that this organization is nothing but “CHURCH”.
The word church in the Bible comes from the Greek word ecclesia, which means a called out company or assembly.
The church is important, for it belongs to God, and he has given it to us to participate in and pass on to another generation that they might experience God there as well!
It is a privilege to be a part of the church. We do not earn this privilege anywhere in this world. This honor was bestowed upon us by Christ into The church.
As apostle Paul said in Ephesians 1:22 “God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church “
Let’s take time ask question by yourself
Am I part of the church? Am I member of his body? Am I going regularly to his company? Am I working faithfully in his company? Am I dedicating my time towards company’s growth and expansion?
Remember, job in His organization is free, but it’s not cheap. He paid the highest price to save us from our sins and join us into His community.
Let’s take time and thank Jesus for his church and the eternal job …. Amen!
GOD BLESS YOU …!
