Good Morning … Praise the LORD …!
Today’s mediation is taken from Isaiah 43:4 “You are precious and honored in my sight”
A speaker started his seminar by holding up a 1000-Rupee note. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this 1000-Rupee note?”
Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this 1000-Rupee note to one of you but first, let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the Rupee Note . He then asked, “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air.
“Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.
“Now who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air.
You have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth 1000-Rupee note.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value in God’s Sight. To Him, dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still precious to Him.
Precious Means great worth, valuable, cherished one who is beloved Dear, treasured, priceless etc.
Remember, even though you failed, depressed, low self-esteem, disappointment etc still you are precious to God. You know this because he allowed Jesus to die a horrible death on the cross so that he could be close to you again.
Never ever think about the world, if the world sees you down or if they say you are fit for nothing. Remember the words of Almighty and Creator of this universe is saying “You arePRECIOUS to me” and he also said you are “HONORED” in my eyes .
Lord Jesus, Thank you for choosing me … AMEN!
