Good Morning …! Praise
the LORD …!
Today’s meditation is
taken from Genesis 1:2 “Now the earth
was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the
Spirit of God was hovering over the waters “
If we look at the
above verse carefully, we get a question “What happen between verse Genesis 1:1
and 1:2”?
In the beginning God
created the Heavens and the earth but there is something happen after that,
many bible scholars says that there might be many years of gap between the
verse 1 and 2. It happened because of the fallen angel Lucifer (Satan) from
heaven. As a result of that
the earth became formless, empty, darkness and void.
Isaiah 14: 12-14 “How you
are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground,
you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God”.
When God created the heavens and the earth, he didn't create it
with empty, dark and formless but it became like that because of the satan.
Jeremiah 4:23 “I looked on
the earth, and behold, it was without form and void; and to the heavens, and
they had no light”.
Isaiah 45:18 “For thus
says the Lord, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and
made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be
inhabited!): “I am the Lord, and there is no other.
But, God started begin
to work, that’s the good news for all us. That’s the only reason we still
exists on this earth.
At times I always
question myself “Why am I here? Why my job like this? Why my relation? Why my
family? Why my education?”. We all felt like this
at some point in our life, may be some of us are feeling now but here is good
news for all of us.
“God wants to begin work
in our life “
Maybe you are feeling
emptiness, helplessness, darkness, formless, void in your career, family,
marriage, relationship etc . May be till today Satan made your life formless and meaningless with sinful nature .
Here is the Good news;
God wants to give new life, if you allow and accept Jesus as personal savior.
If you think your life is meaningless, He can make you meaningful. If you feel
your life is formless and emptiness, He can able to fill the emptiness and give
the proper shape to your life. The Spirit of God was moving over the surface of
the waters. God is right here, waiting for us to turn to Him, waiting to give a
new life.
Lord, Thank you for
the work you have done in my life …!
