Good Morning …! Praise
the LORD …!
Today’s
meditation is taken from Proverbs 6:6 “Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from
their ways and be wise”
This verse always talking to me, even today I awoke up late and
remembered this verse, what an amazing God, He uses his creation to correct people.
God is asking all the sluggard or lazy persons to “Go to ants and
learn a lesson”.
Generally, many people doesn’t care about the animals and little
creatures on the earth but God is telling there is much that you can learn from
the little ants and also He is asking us to learn a lesson to become wise
people . Yes, what we learn from the little ant can help us to become better
Christians in this world. What we have to learn from ants?
Even though they are
not strong like us, they labor hard all summer and gathered food for the winter
and they don’t have boss, manager, guide, ruler to make them work still they work.
Ant’s labor according to their own ability, look for the future, work together
, help each other, work continuously, work towards common goal and they work
with love (in short Hardworking, Goal-oriented, Patient, Consistent, Disciplined,
Unified, Knowledgeable etc. ). This is exactly God wants us to learn from
little ants, if we follow these ways, will become a wise person.
Many people are spiritually
lazy today, they are lazy to read the Bible, praying, go to church, attending
fellowship etc. but scripture warns us about his Day. Romans
13:11-14 “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already
come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now
than when we first believed.”
It’s time to put aside
the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as
in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and
debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the
Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the
flesh.
Wake up, learn a
lesson from ants and become Wise. Ask yourself have I made any preparations and
gathered provisions for the future? Am I saved and ready to meet Jesus?
GOD BLESS YOU
