Daily Devotion : Be Patient when things are going against

Good Morning …! Praise the LORD …!

Today’s meditation is taken from Habakkuk 2:3 “This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed”

In this generation many people hate the word called “WAIT” because people so much into fast deliveries, online shopping rather than wait in shopping malls, online tickets, online food etc. Even in believers, many want fast response from God. When things were going against we all lost patience but God doesn’t operate anything faster that we think. While we rush ourselves, we can’t rush God because everything is under control of HIM.

As Scripture says, we need to build patience when everything going against and we can't rush God to answer immediately.

One of my Christian Friend praying for Job to settle in his life since 3 years but couldn't get and he tried all possible ways but nothings works at end. He lost hope and was complaining against God. Yes, this is what exactly happens in our life when God's answers to our prayers are delay. On the one hand we can begin to doubt and say that God is not listening to us, and this will cause us to sin by lack of faith, and unrighteous complaining against God. We must resist such response to God's delay in answering our faith, for it comes from the devil. And the other danger when the answers to our prayers are delay is that we end to prayer, and give up and forget. That’s the reason it’s very important to build patience when things were out of control.

God has perfect plan and vision for everything in our life as scripture says “These things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed “
 God’s plan may come slowly
 God’s plan will come steadily
 God’s plan will come surely

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint” .

It’s not easy to be patient when everything goes against to your plan in life. But always better to take time and wait upon the LORD. We need to build faith by spending with Word of God and Prayer.

Spend time in prayer to know God’s plan and purpose behind the fulfillment, believe what God has promised, know that God’s time always perfect. Jesus he often told his disciples “My hour has not yet come”. God expects us to live like that. Many people in the bible have already proved.

Noah waited 120 years until it began to rain
Abraham waited 99 years before the promise son (Isaac) came
Moses waited 40 years in the desert before the promise deliverance of Israel from Egypt took place
Joseph waited 13 years in prison before he became ruler of Egypt
David waited 14 years before the throne of Israel would be his.
Even Jesus waited for 30 years before He started His ministry.

“God's Delay is NOT God's Denial”

GOD BLESS YOU
