Good Morning …! Praise
the LORD …!
Today’s meditation is
taken from Proverbs 16: 2 “People may
be pure in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their motives”
In today’s world, many
people believe that they are doing right when they are actually doing wrong and
people failed because they don’t accept the truth and they often think that
their ways are right, even though people living in the wicked and sinful nature
but they think they are clean in their own eyes .
My colleagues always
try to give explanation on what they are doing but they knew it’s not right
thing, still they want look themselves pure in their own eyes and others.
Proverbs 12:15 “The way of
a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.”
Scripture says that
the way of a fool is right in his own eyes but a wise man is he who listens to
counsel. God expects us to live like a wise man. Many believers think that they
are pure because of the religious activities they perform in church like
playing music, signing, conducting gospel meetings etc. but the reality is that
if he/she has never really had a transforming work of the Spirit then the Lord
examines their motives .
Proverbs 21:2 “Every man's
way is right in his own eyes; But the LORD weighs the hearts.”
Many people can easily
flatter and deceive themselves into a good opinion of themselves, and of their
own actions, though they are sinful, if we continue to deceive ourselves of
those actions, one day it will lead to death.
Proverbs 16:25 “There is a
way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”
As a believer, it’s
very important to examine our ways in the sight of the Lord .
GOD BLESS YOU
In Christ,
