Good Morning …! Praise the Lord …!
Today’s meditation is taken from 1 Peter 4:10, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”
Many of us had this doubt “Can GOD use me ? or am I worthy to be used by GOD?”
This is exactly what Satan wants you to think. You may think, “I’m totally unworthy to be used by God or I’m miserable sinner in the sight of God but Jesus gave a promise and he fulfilled that promise in many other lives and that promise is “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”.
Throughout scripture we see God using imperfect people for the sake of his mission. In fact God can use anybody – God can use me, God can use you! God can use bad for good, God can use someone like you!
From an outside perspective, we can see that It didn’t matter where people were from, what they had done, or who they use to be; Jesus used all people for the good of His will. Don’t believe me? Here are biblical examples of people that were used for the greatness of HIS glory.
- Abraham -Was old.
- Elijah – Was suicidal.
- Joseph – Was abused.
- Job – Went bankrupt.
- Moses – Had a speech problem.
- Gideon – Was afraid.
- Samson – Was a womanizer.
- Rahab – Was a prostitute.
- Samaritan Woman – Divorced.
- Noah – Was a Drunk.
- Jeremiah – Was young.
- Jacob – Was a cheater.
- David – Was a murderer.
- Jonah – Ran from God.
- Naomi – Was a widow.
- Peter – Denied Christ three times
- Martha – Worried about everything.
- Zacchaeus – Was small and money hungry.
- The Disciples – Fell asleep while praying.
- Paul – A Pharisee who persecuted Christians before becoming one.
If you ever feel like you aren’t worthy enough, remember that Jesus used a bunch of flawed or failed people to share gospel and his love to a flawed world. No matter what you’ve been through in life, remember that the same power that conquered the grave lives within you.
God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called.
It’s not about our ability, it’s about our availability!
Just check yourself, am I really available for God? Am I really submitted my life to God? Am I using my gifts for the glory of God?
Let’s take time to thank God for his purpose and plan upon us … Amen !
GOD BLESS YOU …!
