Good Morning …! Praise the LORD …!
Today’s meditation is taken from Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding”.
Many people in this world are struggling to finding ways to get wisdom. But bible teaches us the “Fear of The Lord” is beginning of true wisdom; all other types of learning are worthless unless built upon knowledge of the Lord Himself.
The Wisest man in the Bible, Solomon telling how to get wisdom? The fear of the Lord is the foundation for wisdom. In order to develop the fear in the Lord, we must recognize God for who He is. We must understand his power, love, grace, beauty, and brilliance of the Lord God Almighty. We can build fear of the Lord by continuous reading of his Word and prayer. Those who fear the Lord have a continual awareness of His presence.
Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
God instructs us to live a wise life and become a wise person in this world. A wise person fears and obeys the Lord but a fool ignores the God’s instruction. Wisdom gives us the knowledge of the Holy one and that will give us eternal life. The fear of the Lord is the key to this storehouse of knowledge and wisdom and salvation. This is a treasure that God has stored up for each one of us. God’s word is the only key to God’s divine knowledge and salvation and wisdom. Amen!
